Thank you God for GPS's and Maps

I am thankful for the things that make traveling easier.

Imagine trying to get somewhere, anywhere without a map.

I am thankful for the trailblazer and pioneers,

who had to make the very first maps.

Now we have GPS's and google maps.

No pulling over to read a map;

or stopping to ask directions.

We just put in the address

and the navigation system takes us where we want to go.

It can even recalculate if we make a wrong turn,

and get us back on track.

The navigation system can even tell you how long it will take

to get from point A to point B.

what a blessing these little gadgets are!

Doctors and Taxes

Tonight, I’m doing something I absolutely hate. My husband and I are working on a budget. I imagine that most of you feel the same way. It’ kind of like taxes and doctors, we dislike them and breathe a sigh of relief when they are done. Truth be told; we really don’t enjoy working on a budget at all. Perfect for Me

Tomorrow my sweetie and I will be celebrating twenty- nine years of marriage. What an amazing journey! I have to confess that when we were first married I had some preconceived ideas of what love and marriage would be like. I thought love was having my spouse with me all the time, holding hands doing everything together, never having a disagreement. I did my homework, and since they did not sell one that I wanted in store; I ordered it online. As I was waiting to pick it up on Saturday, I noticed that there was a sign that said the store was offering a fifty dollar gift card when you bought a smartphone. I thought, wow that would be so awesome to get a gift card. I asked about the gift card and was informed that I had to have gotten the phone that day. The lady said I could return the phone I bought and then rebuy it so I could get the discount. I was extremely tempted because I really could have used the gift card. After I had thought about it; I decided that, for me, it would be wrong to do that since I had bought it earlier and returning it and buying it back just to get the gift card seemed deceptive.
