One thing that I am thankful for, not just at Thanksgiving but all the time, is the God's love is not like human love. His love makes the best of human love, nothing more than rubbish. God's love sacrificed everything. Love that left heaven and all its glory, and entered this world as a helpless little baby in a manger, all for you and me. Love that said, "I would rather die than live without you." Love that would lay down his life not just for his friends but also his enemies. A passion for each person that searches and looks like a person looking for treasure. Love that goes counter to everything this world teaches about love.
