Who Knew?

For the next few days, I am going to write about some things that we say, but that God will not or does not say. God does not say “whoops" nor does he say, “I didn’t see that coming.”  You and I are often surprised by the twists and turns in life,  but the all-knowing God never is.  When Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit in the garden,  God was not surprised.    Nor was he astounded when a shepherd boy became a king.    And when the King of Assyria invaded, he was not blindsided in the least.  In fact, he was working His plan even in the things that no one could have expected  or seen happening.  James puts it like this, “Now listen, you who say,  “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city,  spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”  Why you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.  What is your life?  You are a mist that appears for a little while and then
