Transformation or Makeover

I had the day off.  I was up early enjoying the morning sun and a cup of coffee before I started the day.    Suddenly, I had an inspiration.  I wanted to fix a dresser that I had bought at a yard sale a few years ago.  My daughter used it and when she got married, it became mine.   It was old and worn out when I acquired it, but I knew just how to fix it.  As I was taking old padding off and peeling off layers of contact paper, I stumbled upon the stunning realization that I love makeovers.  There is something immensely satisfying about taking something that most people would throw out and making it into something amazing.  The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I have a God, who also specializes in not just a makeover but in transformation.  God doesnā€™t see the scuff marks or the holes or the dents or the ripped padding.  He sees something worthwhile.  He sees what we can be with ...
