Now That's Funny

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

There is nothing better than laughter.

A good joke can release the stress I've been building up.

Q: Why did the belt get arrested?
A: He held up a pair of pants.

A funny situation they all provide much-needed laughter.

Laughter can diffuse a bad situation.

When we can see some humor in something,

it makes it seem somehow less bad.

Sometimes, as we get older, we forget to laugh;

to see the humor in things.

Children naturally see the humor in situations.

This sign appeared after receiving almost 200 inches of snow.

I saw it and laughed.

We go through life like zombies and forget that some things are funny.

As I read through the Bible, I find many instances where God exhibits a sense of humor.

For example: In Esther, God has Haaman parade the one person he hates,

through the streets of Susa.

If that doesn't convince you,

look in the mirror.

People can be pretty funny on a regular basis...

well ok, I can.

Laughter is great medicine.

Experience  shows that most things are not nearly as bad as we think

and if we can see the funniness in a situation it somehow releases our stress.

So
-when you totally say the wrong thing  at the wrong time have a good laugh and go on.

-Or when you wave furiously at someone only to discover they aren't who you thought they were... have a laugh

-Or when you walk into the end of the aisle and spill your coffee see the humor and go on after you clean it up of course.

There is laughter that cleanses and laughter that heals.

There is laughter that makes the horrible seem somehow less bad

and more tolerable. How can we live a life of joy if we have never learned to

laugh?

There is nothing better than laughter with friends and family.
Friends and family who bring laughter with them are even better.

I amThankful that God gives us Humor
